Day 01 : Delhi – Leh (Complete Rest in Leh for acclimatisation)

Take the morning flight for Leh from Delhi. On arrival at Leh met our representative and transfer to pre booked hotel/Guest house for relax and acclimatisation. This is necessary for getting acclimatised at high altitude. Evening one can visit the color full market of Leh. Overnight in the hotel/guesthouse.

Day 02 : Leh – Shey – Thiksey - Hemis

On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries in this area.

Shey Gompa is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17’Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa.

Thiksey Gompa, close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order.

Hemis, about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17’Th century. The setting is perfect with the monastery cradled in a lovely valley, surrounded by streams and fronted by long Mani walls. Overnight stay at the guest house.

Day 03 : Leh – Nubra Valley (125 kms approx)

In the morning after breakfast, drive towards Nubra valley via Khardung La (18300 feet). The highest motor head road in the world. Upon arrival at Nubra valley, we will stay at our tents. After a short relaxation we will visit the Diskit Gompa. Overnight at Sand dune leisure Camp at Hunder.

Day 04 : Nubra Valley – Leh

After breakfast at our camps, we will go for the world famous camel safari. It is very incredible to see the camel in this part of the world. After having our safari, drive towards Leh. Upon arrival at Leh, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Leh – Likir – Alchi – Lamayuru (124 kms approx)

After breakfast we drive to Likir and visit Likir Gompa situated a top a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. It was founded in the 12th Century. Then we drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh’s most loved monastery. After Alchi, we reach Lamayuru monastery, founded by Rinchen Zangpo in the 10th century. This Gompa is located amidst the massive mountains. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 : Lamayuru – Kargil (110 kms approx)

After the Breakfast drive to Kargil enroute visit Mulback Chamba and Atitasa monastery. Later, drive towards Kargil. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Kargil – Parkachik (89 kms approx)

In the morning after breakfast drive towards Parkachik via Tesuru. Also its very nice view of Nun and Kun peak from Purthikstay village before 5 km of Panikahr Overnight at Camps.

Day 08 : Parkachik – Padum (135 kms approx)

In the morning after breakfast drive towards Padum via Rangdum. On way you will visit Rangdum Monastery very picturestic on the top of small hill area on right of road Overnight at Camp /Hotel.

Day 09 : Padum – Kargil (224 kms approx)

In the morning after breakfast drive towards Kargil with same route. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Kargil – Leh (235 kms approx)

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel, and drive towards Leh. Upon arrival at Leh, check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Leh Departure

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel, and drive to airport to catch the flight for Delhi.
